Lysiane Bysh

BA, Chartered FCIPD, CMC

Lysiane is a JSB management development consultant and trainer. She has particular expertise in performance management, team building, customer care, communication skills, interviewing and appraisals and assessment centre design. Her clients span a wide range of organisations in both the private and the public sector, including a number of professional firms and partnerships such as Allen and Overy, Fladgate Fielder, Macfarlanes and Weil Gotshal & Manges.

Lysiane has a degree in European History. She worked extensively for Marks & Spencer in human resources, gaining experience particularly in recruitment and training, retail systems and IT support.

Lysiane is also a corporate member of the Institute of Management Consultants.

Diane Hodgson

Dr Diane Hodgson has over 25 years’ experience of facilitating, training and coaching. She specialises in executive coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills, equality and diversity and mediation. She has been helping lawyers and barristers prepare for judicial appointments and for ‘Silk’ since the introductions of the new selection processes.

Diane also works with the Inns of Court training interviewers for scholarships. She has run group sessions at that Bar council and the Law Society as well as presenting at related conferences. She has worked with a wide range of clients in the UK and Europe, including regulatory bodies, professional services firms, universities, new media and communications, as well as barristers’ chambers.

• Coaching professionals and executives, including lawyers, in preparing for interviews, managing change, developing influence
• Skills development in influencing, interpersonal, coaching, and mediation skills, including training lawyers in developing a coaching culture within their firms

Karen Minto

Chartered MCIPD, Psychometric and Emotional Intelligence Assessor

Karen has 25 years’ experience working in a range of HR functions and activities, and learning and development.

She has spent a considerable time working in the areas of selection, interviewing, and coaching. Karen is a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, and has gained a variety of additional HR qualifications and psychometric accreditations.

Angela Qureshi

BSc (Hons), MSc, Chartered FCIPD

Angela has been coaching applicants for silk and judicial appointments for the last five years. She draws upon her in depth knowledge and experience of selection combined with the underpinning development feedback and coaching activity that supports applicants to perform at their best in the selection process. Previously Angela was a management consultant with Ernst & Young, in business strategy, and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in change management, and was Head of HR at Middlesex University. She is British Psychological Society qualified to undertake psychometric assessments, including amongst others, the MBTI and SHL instruments

Notable work

• Worked on all aspects of the selection and recruitment process including designing and leading assessment centres, designing recruitment and selection strategies, approaches and methods for organisations
• Interviewer and selector on panels and individually for senior professional, medical and academic professorial and leadership posts
• Designing and delivering recruitment and selection training programmes to develop the selection and interviewing skills of recruiters

Michele Rosenberg

BA (Hons), Diploma in Professional Counselling, Chartered MCIPD

Michele is a highly experienced trainer, facilitator and coach specialising in management and interpersonal skills development. As a coach, she offers clients support through organisational change and helps them to develop skills for career development and to achieve a balance between personal and working life.

With a background in recruitment, Michele has a particular expertise in supporting applicants for senior roles and has assisted lawyers and barristers to prepare for judicial appointments.

She is qualified user of a range of psychometric instruments including MBTI and FIRO B.

• Designed assessment centres and carried out assessments for a wide range of roles

Claire Sheldon

Claire has over 25 years’ experience in professional services, having worked in communications, compliance, and HRD; before moving into external consultancy and executive coaching. She has worked with clients in the UK and Europe: City banks, auction houses, charities, new media and communications; as well as law firms and barristers’ chambers. Claire’s ability to get to the heart of her clients’ issues, and to ground her work in the day-to-day challenges or their working practice, means she has many long-term relationships with both organisations and individuals. Claire is completing an MA in Coaching and Mentoring Practice.
